Barack’s private prayer

Apparently some student stole Barack’s prayer from the cracks of the Western Wall and sent it to a newspaper. While I think it’s deplorable that someone violated his privacy like that, I must say that his prayer brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. I might put it up on my bathroom mirror as a daily reminder.

“Lord, protect my family and me. Forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will.”

Amen.

    Isn’t that horrible?! People should be ashamed of themselves. I did love his prayer though.

    Speaking of prayers, good thoughts etc, keep us in mind. Trevor lost his job this week, but he applied for one in Knoxville, TN! Cross your fingers that he gets an interview up there. It’s with the Oak Ridge National Laboratories. It’s on the other side of the state from you, but it would be the same state! :-)
